The Bo-Peeps of Kern County award a $1,000 scholarship annually to promote education in agriculture or an agriculture-related field. The applicant must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States, a Kern County resident attending high school or college, and have plans to pursue a college degree in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.  The scholarship recipient will be selected based on academic record, merit of applicant's essay, membership in agricultural organizations, and community service.
